Setting up a Server in Link Logger
When running a server Link Logger can flag the inbound traffic as an
alert. To configure Link Logger such that it knows the inbound traffic is
expected and not an alert you must mirror your firewall port forwards in Link
Logger. For example if your running a web server on TCP port 80, then
select Edit from the main menu and select the Alert Lists... option and once on
the Alert Lists screen select the Port Forwarding tab.

Enter Port From and Port To as the port range forwarded. In the case of
a web server enter 80 for both. The IP field is the IP Address of your
Server or in the case of the Netgear Fx114y enter your WAN IP Address. If
the forwarded traffic is sent to any other IP Address it will be flagged as an
alert. Select the protocol and if you wish enter a Comment (maximum of 254
characters). Press the 'Save Forward' button and all future server traffic
will be flagged as normal within Link Logger.
